What is the Awards and Activities Module?

The Awards and Activities module helps schools record and share pupil achievements and participation in a clear, consistent way. It supports positive engagement with families while giving staff simple tools to recognise progress, effort and involvement across school life.

What is the Juniper Education App?

The Juniper Education App is a mobile app designed for parents.

It allows schools to share important information directly with families, helping parents stay informed about their child's school experience.

Parents can also receive messages from the school, view attendance statistics and send absence notifications through the app.

How do teachers award points and badges and record classroom moments?
Teachers can access the Comms Hub online or use the Juniper Education App to award pupils directly from their mobile device.
Do parents need to download the app?

Yes. You will need to invite parents to join the Juniper Education App. They will need to download the Juniper Education App to receive updates from your school.

Once logged in, they will be able to view their child's badges, points and activities.

Parents can also receive messages from the school, view attendance statistics and send absence notifications through the app.

How are parents invited to the Juniper Education App?

As part of your onboarding process, we will sync with your MIS to get your pupil and parent contact data. Schools will then be able to invite parents to create an account.  

Will parents receive notifications?

Parents will receive notifications for app messages, badges, points and observation, if they have notifications for the app enabled on their device. 

What if parents do not want to use the app?

Parents won't be able to receive in-app messages, but they can still receive emails and SMS messages from the Comms Hub

The Awards and Activities module simply provides an additional way for families to stay informed.
