Claire has over 20 years’ experience working in payroll; from small individual businesses to a large bureau service. She joined Juniper Education’s payroll bureau team in July 2021, where she now works as a Payroll Team Manager.

Pay awards can be complex - but at Juniper, we make the process smooth, accurate, and timely.

Juniper ensures that once pay awards are agreed, changes to basic pay and any applicable arrears are implemented directly through payroll. Where possible, we process both the new rates and all backdated payments within the same pay period - something not all payroll providers offer.

Support staff pay awards are effective from 1st April, and teacher pay awards from 1st September.

These awards may include percentage increases, set value uplifts, or additional benefits such as changes to allowances or working conditions.
