We all know how important the volunteer workforce is in schools, and the breadth of experience, capacity and skills they bring, and in particular your governors and trustees.

Saturday 5th December is International Volunteers Day, (initiated by the UN in 1985 to recognise all the great work volunteers do across the world) and we thought what a great opportunity for schools to show their appreciation to their volunteer workforce.

This year’s theme is “Together we can.”

We have created a simple Digital Badge for you to issue to your Governors as a token of your thanks and appreciation. Your Governors can display their badge on social media pages, their LinkedIn profiles, or email it to their colleagues.

The process is very simple:

Fill in the form below with your full name, DfE number and school name, then the first name, second name and email address of the Governor, and we will issue them with a volunteer badge on the morning of 5th December*.

If you have multiple badges you wish to send please select the add another line option on the form.
