This training and development pathway, developed by Juniper Education's experts, is designed to maximise the impact of your investment in regulatory training. We draw links between different areas of pupil success: safety, well-being, and learning.

Our fully-remote, three-pronged programme begins with ensuring a safe environment for pupils and guaranteeing that statutory requirements for keeping children safe are fulfilled. Once safety is ensured, the programme focuses on pupil well-being, followed by learning and academic achievement. Each module builds on the last to ensure continuity for delegates, helping you gain the insight and depth of knowledge you need to build a culture of excellence in your school.​

All programmes are delivered online, with a choice of dates available for each course. Certification can be provided for all training undertaken.

 

Module 1: Keeping Pupils Safe


Pupil safety is defined broadly. From premises to first aid training, we know it takes more than barricades and caution signs to maintain a safe environment. Quality learning cannot take place in an unsafe environment. This programme will equip school leaders with the knowledge and expertise to ensure emergency readiness and maximum safety for pupils, staff, and the wider school community.


While our programme helps you fulfil your statutory requirements for safeguarding, we want schools to thrive far beyond regulatory obligations. This programme will allow education leaders to truly build a culture of complete safety of every kind: physical, mental, emotional, social, and digital.

 
Module 2: ​Well-being

With the safety of staff and pupils secured, schools must also ensure that pupils are ready to learn. Well-being covers all aspects of a pupil’s health: physical, mental, and emotional. Staff, too, will have similar needs to be able to lead that learning.

With the building blocks in place, pupils and staff are ready to build a learning environment. Developing staff skills, approaches, and processes is key to assessment which informs pupils’ next steps at its heart.
