Originally from Scotland, Sandra left her operations manager role with the Halifax when she and her family moved to Essex in 2007. With sixteen years of data management in banking behind her, Sandra put this to use when she joined a local 16-18 secondary school as their Data Manager in 2010. The school became a Sisra Analytics customer in 2011, and Sandra was quickly impressed at both the efficiency and effectiveness of the system.
Sandra’s Chemistry degree encouraged her analytical and problem-solving approach. A firm believer that accurate assessment and pastoral data provide the basis for sound intervention, she encouraged and trained staff in the best use of Facility, Go 4 Schools and Sisra as a powerful means to maximise student and school results. Sandra was delighted to join Sisra as a Data Consultant in early 2018, expanding the consultant presence in the South East of England.
Today Sandra remains passionate about driving the use of accurate data to improve student outcomes, whilst providing the best professional service to her schools. She enjoys sharing her wealth of knowledge and best practice when delivering training, be that at bespoke online or onsite events or in the ever-popular group-based webinars, training courses or DataMeets.
Beyond work, Sandra enjoys travelling and can often be found taking advantage of the East Anglian ‘big blue skies’ in her replica AC Cobra.
