Opened in 1946, Tanglewood are an established Local Authority Maintained Nursery School in Chelmsford, delivering high quality early education to children aged 2-4 years. Highly qualified teachers and practitioners support, encourage and facilitate learning opportunities enabling children to be confident and independent lifelong learners.
Tanglewood are currently looking for a co-opted governor to join their board.
Skills Required
- an interest in children’s education and the performance of the school
- some spare time during the school day to visit us a few times a year
- the ability to work well with others
Time Commitment
- 3/4 full governing body meetings a year starting at 19:15 in the evening
- Attendance at curriculum & pupil related committee, or the finance, premises & personnel committee (3 per year)
