Our Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) Support Programme supports NQTs by providing professional development opportunities tailored to their agreed induction programme priorities and encourages them to make best use of their reduced timetable allowance (10% in the first year).
NQTs will benefit from a personalised programme having completed our self-evaluation tool, rating their confidence against each of the “Learn That…” statements from the Early Career Framework.
What Makes Our Programme Different
Unlike other NQT Support Programme providers, we deliver a blended approach to professional development – mixing online, self-driven and trackable pre-learning modules accessed via our CPD app with coached and peer-to-peer support delivered through Microsoft Teams in small working groups. The CPD app is accessible across a number of devices and modules can be completed both on and offline making them accessible from any location at any time. NQTs’ learning is validated by a Juniper Education Digital Badge associated with the successfully completed module.
A Personalised Learning Experience
Our NQT Support Programme consists of a menu of 31 modules for NQTs to select from over their induction year to address directly the development needs identified in their Career Entry and Development Profile.
The modules are designed around the 5 core areas of the DfE’s Early Career Framework (ECF). Training is optimised for engagement in manageable components, with each of the 31 modules designed to be completed over a 4-week period.

Supporting NQTs, Headteachers and Induction Tutors
Our programme supports NQTs by providing professional development opportunities tailored to their agreed induction programme priorities and encourages them to make best use of their reduced timetable allowance. Headteachers and Induction Tutors are supported by ensuring an appropriate and personalised support programme is in place to support NQTs in passing their induction period.
Benefits for NQTs and Their Schools
NQTs can select from a menu of modules and create a bespoke programme to address directly the development needs identified in their Career Entry and Development Profile – no wasted time revisiting their areas of strength.
No travel or supply costs – courses are delivered remotely with webinars scheduled after school
No days out of school – NQTs can maximise time with their classes while being supported by high quality professional development and mentoring.
Remote delivery means that professional development can continue regardless of any restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Each successfully completed module will be rewarded with a Juniper Digital Badge, enabling the NQT, Induction Tutor and Headteacher to track progress towards successful completion of induction.
