Collecting education-specific information about employees, such as teacher numbers and qualified teacher status, allows you to keep information in one place and run your School Workforce Census from your HR System. 

The school workforce census is a statutory data collection that takes place each autumn. All education establishments in the UK must complete a statutory census by law. The census collects data on all teaching and support staff. Data must be collected and submitted to the DfE’s online portal.
